What is the difference between temp-to-hire and direct hire?
Temp-to-hire, also known as "Try before you hire," offers candidates and clients an opportunity to ensure an effective match. At the end of the temporary period, the candidate and the client can make the decision to continue on a contract basis, complete the assignment or bring the candidate on as a direct employee. For a direct hire position, you interview and decide if the client is offering the type of position you want to accept. If so, you accept and become a full-time employee of the client. A win-win situation for everyone.
Who determines my pay rate?
DTS clients offer competitive rates and salaries for their candidates depending on experience. Your DTS representative will work with you to ensure rates are acceptable.
